Community Assessment & Treatment Services (CATS) is a substance abuse rehabilitation center offering men and women, comprehensive, residential and outpatient recovery services.  CATS is a cornerstone of the Slavic Village neighborhood in Cleveland, Ohio, currently celebrating our 26th year of operation.

Employment Opportunities

  • Status: 1 full-time position available, M-F, and some evenings.
    Description: Provide oversight of clinical alcohol and drug addiction recovery services provided by counselors to a diverse population within a male correctional institution in Youngstown, Ohio. This position requires empathy and respect, the ability to set boundaries and a desire to work as part of a treatment team.
    Required: Must have a LICDC, LISW or LPCC license. Working knowledge of PREA and HIPAA privacy laws. Previous work or volunteer experience in behavioral health or addictions treatment.

  • Status: 2 full-time positions available, M-F, days and some evenings.
    Description: Provide clinical recovery services to individuals with substance abuse/mental health issues.
    Required: Must have LSW, PC or LCDC II or III.

  • Outpatient Campus Counselor

    Status: 1 PRN position available (weekend/weeknights).
    Description: Provide clinical recovery services to individuals with substance abuse/mental health issues.
    Required: Minimum of LSW, LPC or LCDC II or III.

  • Main Campus Counselors

    Status: 1 full-time position available; 1 part-time position available.
    Description: Provide clinical recovery services to individuals with substance abuse/mental health issues
    Required: Minimum of LSW, LPC or LCDC II or III

  • Facilities Manager

    Status: 1 full-time position available Thursday-Sunday 7 a.m.- 5 p.m.
    Description: Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.
    Required: Experience and/or education within the maintenance field, and a valid drivers license. This position is very active and includes a variety of physical demands.

  • Resident Advocates

    Opening #1: part-time male RA available Saturday and Sunday 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
    Opening #2: full-time 3rd shift male RA/ Driver working half the time as a Residential Advocate and half the time as a driver.
    Description: Provide supervision and direct services to men and women living in a residential substance abuse/mental health recovery treatment program
    Required: Previous experience, and/or social service or criminal justice education, preferred.

  • Residential Cook

    Status: 1 full-time position available Thursday-Sunday 7a.m.-5p.m.
    Description: On-the-job, your training will start with the basics of the kitchen, food and workplace safety and cooking methods, and advances from there.
    Required: No formal education is required, and most training for cook jobs is done on-the-job.
